NA LCS Recap and Standings

Week 8 was full of upsets. Because of IEM Katowice last week, all of the teams (except CLG and TSM), had the chance to get much needed practice. As a result, teams like NRG and Renegades showed significant improvement.

The games to watch are Echo Fox vs Dignitas and Dignitas vs Immortals. These games aren't clean and demonstrate how consistently Dignitas throws. Nevertheless, they are exciting and a spectacle to behold.

Week 8 was a strong week for Origen and G2 Esports with the return of xPeke. The standings are as close as ever with only one more week remaining of the regular season.

In the fourth week of the ESL Pro League teams played a total of 48 total matches for both EU and NA regions.

Astralis, NiP, and OpTic lead the standings so far. The NiP vs Fnatic match up next week is a must see as the two Swedish teams rehash their classic rivalry.

Counter Pit Season 2 LAN finals matchups revealed

The Counter Pit Season 2 LAN finals have been set to take place in Podstrana, Croatia on March 17-18. The tournament will be best of threes single elimination.

Here are the match-ups:

  • 3:45 a.m. EST — Virtus.pro vs. Team Immunity
  • 7:45 a.m. EST — Na`Vi vs. Flipsid3 Tactics
  • 10:45 a.m. EST — Astralis vs. Torpedo Gaming

Dota Pit League Season 4 LAN Finals

Dota Pit has revealed the schedule and round 1 matchups of the Dota Pit LAN Finals.

Here is how the single-elimination bracket will go down:

With $187,036 on the line the Dota Pit LAN Finals will be held from March 19-20 at the Spaladium Arena in Split, Crotia. The tournament is the first one after The Shanghai Major and features top teams like Team Secret and Evil Geniuses.
