Diablo 2 Patch Optimizes Game For Modern Computers
Blizzard has surprisingly released Patch 1.14a for Diablo 2, optimizing the game for modern operating systems. The last time Diablo 2 saw an update bar was four years ago. Got to hand it to Blizzard for giving the game some love amid their ever-expanding catalog.
Blizzard also announced that they have begun working on systems to counter cheaters and hackers plaguing Diablo 2, making those Baal runs feel a little too easy.
There is still a large Diablo II community around the world, and we thank you for continuing to play and slay with us. This journey starts by making Diablo II run on modern platforms, but it does not end there. See you in Sanctuary, adventurers.
Blizzard's support for older titles is reassuring, and while we can't say Diablo 2 will recieve new content players can at least be content it won't disappear anytime soon.
