Order and Chaos 2: Redemption Announced

MMO sequels may be fairly uncommon but that isn't stopping Gameloft from expanding Order and Chaos' legacy. Twelve million downloads and four "Best MMO on Mobile" awards later, they have announced that the mobile themepark MMORPG will be getting a sequel in the form of Order and Chaos 2: Redemption. The game will pick up 600 years after the original, taking place after "a cataclysmic event that destroyed the world" following the destruction of the Primal Heart. The heroes had been deceived and the destruction of the Primal Heart was not actually the way to put an end to all evil. Now, they are setting out to redeem themselves and rid the world of evil once and for all. Pretty generic stuff but it does the job.

Official news will be posted to the game's Facebook page. At present, not much more has been announced but several sources say that Gameloft intend to run the game in parallel with the series' first entry rather than shut it down.
