After nearly three months in Closed Beta, Dragonjam Studios have launched their free-to-play racing game Wincars Racer into Open Beta. In Wincars Racer, players build a team of racers from eleven cars and six characters before heading online to face off against other players on one of ten different courses. The game offers matchmaking against players of your level, tournaments, "special events," and a single-player Time Attack mode that you can use to practice.

Each character has a set of three unique skills, such as the ability to incinerate opponents or "[unfold] mechanical wings." This system was inspired by MOBAs and is meant to "[extend] the strategic options" given to players. According to the developers, "the combinations of driver and car for each race are crucial," as well as your ability to read your opponents.

To take part in the Open Beta, head over to the official website. According to the website, the "cast of drivers and cars" is "ever growing." The game also hit Greenlight today to coincide with the launch and is currently looking for upvotes.
