Overview

Tactical Intervention Overview

Tactical Intervention is a client-based–free-to-play modern shooter MMO developed by Minh "Gooseman" Le, the co-creator of Counter-Strike. While it features many similarities to Counter-Strike it goes further, including a variety of unique features such as military dogs, lootable enemies, limited stamina for sprinting, building rappelling, the ability to heal friendly players, and more. It features two game modes: deathmatch and mission, one of which is dedicated to an all-out killfest, and another which gives each side objectives to complete. The game's guns are based off of real-world weaponry and become permanent fixtures in your inventory once purchased, unlike many free-to-play games' temporary weapons. Tactical Intervention shut down on October 2, 2017.

Tactical Intervention Key Features:

  • Deathmatch and Mission Modes – join deathmatch and destroy the opposing teams for the greatest amount of kills, or choose one of the game's mission modes which allow you to participate in hostage situations or escort missions.
  • Vehicle Combat – hijack a vehicle and shoot at your foes from the seat, allowing for high-speed chases.
  • Realistic Weaponry – equip premium weapons permanently, inspired by real-world artillery such as the P90 and the AK47.
  • Developed by Minh "Gooseman" Le – experience the thrill of the Counter Strike series with added features, as the game is developed by one of its co-creators, Minh Le.
  • Terrorists vs. Counter-Terrorists – rappel down a building to take care of a hostage situation as a counter-terrorist, or grab hostages and use them as human shields as a terrorist.
