Development History / Background:

Grand Chase was originally developed by Ntreev, which eventually was renamed to Gamerage. When the game first launched back in 2008 it was very active and supported a high player base, mainly due to its low system requirements and easy to learn controls. As time went on and newer games with similar system requirements came around, the player base eventually fell which led to loss of revenue for Gamerage. Eventually the game stopped becoming profitable and it was officially closed on April 17, 2015.
