Star Wars Galaxies was a 3D sci-fi MMORPG based on the original Star Wars triology. It was developed by Verant Interactive, the same studio behind the original EverQuest, and published by Sony Online Entertainment (now known as Daybreak Game Company.)  Star Wars Galaxies had a unique skill based progression system, plenty of sandbox features, and both land and space based combat features. The Star Wars Galaxies soundtrack was composed internally for use in the game. The Soundcloud embed features all of the BGMs, tracks, and music from the Star Wars Galaxies Soundtrack. Star Wars Galaxies was released as a subscription based MMORPG on June 26, 2003 and was shut down on December 15, 2011 to make way for for Star Wars The Old Republic.
