Albion Online Patches In Outlands PvP Changes Ahead Of Season 12 Launch Next Week

albion online outlands territories bannerSandbox Interactive is all about changing the PvP meta in Albion Online with the upcoming Call to Arms update which is scheduled to arrive a few days after the start of Season 12 on March 13. The team also did a little tinkering under the hood in yesterday’s patch in anticipation for Season 12. The changes are meant to encourage more PvP activity in the Outlands outside of large-scale battles.

Daily Territory Season Points awarded for controlling Outlands territories have been increased and the point difference between inner and outer regions have been slightly flattened. Castle Season Points have also been increased and will still be awarded every 6 hours while Castle Outpost Season Points will now be given every 3 hours and have also been increased overall.

The patch also changes how PvE Fame buffs are acquired in several locations. Instead of killing the World Bosses themselves, players will now have to defeat the Elite mobs to gain the buff. The buff stacks with each Elite mob killed and can be stacked up to 50% bonus Fame as long as they remain within the zone.

New levels have been added to the 20vs20 Crystal League along with an increase in starting and player kill points. The value of Castle Chests has also been increased along with the spawn rate of Lesser Outlands Chests. And finally, Season Points have been reduced for lower Guild Challenge levels to encourage guilds to focus more on open-world objectives like territories.

All in all, it’s a pretty hefty patch. A more detailed rundown of the changes can be found on the Albion Online official site.
