Albion Online Releases Charity Pack To Help Raise Funds For WHO COVID-19 Fund
In today’s coronavirus-related MMO news, German video game developer Sandbox Interactive has rolled out a limited-time Albion Online Charity Pack to help the World Health Organization in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The pack includes a Staff of Hermes vanity offhand skin and a matching Staff of Hermes Avatar Ring.
“The Staff of Hermes is an ancient symbol of medicine and healing, and was chosen in honor of those on the frontlines of the current pandemic,” says the studio. “100% of the money raised from sales of this pack will go to the WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. This fund directs donations to ensuring patient care, buying and shipping essential supplies, accelerating efforts to develop vaccines, tests and treatments, and much more.”
The charity pack will be available until April 30th and, once purchased, will unlock the offhand skin for all characters in an account. Head over to the Albion Online official site to learn more.
