Albion Online Tweaks Combat, Hellgates, Rewards, And More In The Latest Patch

albion online hellgate demon realm bannerPart four of the Call to Arms update is now live in Albion Online bringing with it a whole host of combat balance changes and gameplay improvements.

The patch tweaks the current meta by bringing more healing staffs to the foreground while also reducing the dominance of certain gear in specific content, such as Quarterstaffs in Corrupted Dungeons and Dagger Pairs in 2vs2 Hellgates. The sustained damage of axe weapons have also been nerfed to bring them in line with other melee weapons in the game. A few abilities have also been reworked to make them more viable in combat.

Faction Warfare respawns now happen in batches to make it easier to rally forces and Bandit Assaults will happen more frequently and will be less predictable. Matchmaking delays between Hellgate chains have also been removed and chests will always spawn upon completion of a Hellgate regardless of whether PvP occurred or not.

Players can also look forward to significantly-increased rewards, better matchmaking, automatic cooldown and health resets after invasions, improved knockdown mechanics, and faster loading times when moving between zones.

A full rundown of the changes can be found on the official patch notes.
