Atom Universe's Early Access Launch May Happen This Month

Atom Universe, the theme park MMO that has been drawing favorable comparisons to PlayStation Home, may launch on Early Access this month. The Steam store page was recently updated to say "Feb 2016" and the game is currently sitting at the top of the Upcoming list. This is only a tentative date—and it could always be delayed again—but it appears that Early Access is getting ever closer.

The Steam store page was also updated to better reflect the state that Early Access will be in. The initial Early Access build will contain only the Arcade Plaza, which consists of "a Bowling Alley and Amusement Arcade." The theme park itself will be opened at a later date. A set of five mini-games are being worked on and will be added over the course of Early Access. "Avatar Customization, [...] Private Spaces, Rides, and more activities" are all planned for after the full launch. The Early Access phase is only expected to last for three months.
