It’s been a long time coming but the promised Blade and Soul Unreal Engine 4 upgrade is nearly upon us as NCSoft announces September 8th as the official release date for the highly-awaited upgrade. Following the update, players can look forward to better-looking visuals, better performance, new gameplay systems, and a host of new content and features.

On top of the list is the new Dual Blade class, which, as the name implies, wields one sword on each hand to unleash maximum damage. “Enjoy lightning speed, devastating attacks, and flashy combat of these unique swordfighters. They live by the mantra: the best defense is a good offense,” teases the devs.

The update will also introduce new dungeons and their respective new bosses. Additional details about the upcoming UE4 Update and its contents will be revealed during a preview livestream scheduled on August 26 at 11am PDT on the Blade and Soul official Twitch channel.
