Camelot Unchained Tries To Clear Their To-Do List Before The New Year Comes
Whether it’s buying gifts or getting the car fixed for that long drive to your relatives, we’ve all got a list of things that we need to before the year ends. Well, City State Entertainment and the whole Camelot Unchained team have their own share of medieval fantasy to-do lists to tackle before the ball drops this year.
“You know it’s December when you start seeing more snow on people’s cars! While it’s becoming more normal to layer up when going outside, it’s staying toasty here in our offices as we continue working our collective butts off to get as much work done as we can before the end of the year! (Fun fact: Our HVAC is still on the cooling setting, because our computers actually keep the office a little too warm!)”
Number one on their list is the standalone building server which should reduce the load on the game servers by running building calculations and operations on a separate standalone server. There’s also a new crafting UI in the works, along with siege and siege engines, particle effects for weapons, mesh simplification, scenario improvements, animation updates, better-looking characters, and more.
You’ll find the full list on the Camelot Unchained official site. Before you do, you might want to check out the latest dev livestream and Q&A right after the break.
