Chivalry 2 Closed Beta And Official Launch Date Revealed With New Gameplay Footage

The team is back with a new dev diary featuring gory new footage of the upcoming first-person medieval multiplayer slasher along with the official dates for the upcoming closed beta and the game's launch on the Epic Games Store.

The closed beta will run from March 26-29 with a higher player count (64) and the ability to throw practically anything that you can get your gauntleted hands on, be it swords, spears, pitchforks, barrels, cart wheels, severed heads, and even chickens. The closed beta will also support cross-platform play between PC and console this time around.

“It’s been eight years since the first game launched,” said Torn Banner. “We always knew that we’re going to come back to Chivalry 2 and we wanted to come back in a way that was going to move the genre itself forward.”
