Cutesy indie 2.5D MMORPG Cinderstone Online has kicked off its week-long open beta for those who want to check it out but haven’t been invited to the closed beta, or if you’re just looking for something new to play this week.

The open beta test will run until September 8th and will include access to three playable classes, three maps to explore (Cinderstone City, Highsommer Plains, and Willowisp), two dungeons, and one conquerable castle. Players will have their level capped at 20 and will also be able to try out the game’s crafting, enchantment, and advanced gathering systems as well as Caravan PvP, and castle sieges.

To join the open beta, simply request access through Cinderstone Online’s Steam page and wait for the invite to be sent to the email you registered on Steam. Developer Codevision still hasn’t announced a solid release date for the game but it’ still on track for release within the year.
