Upcoming Asymmetric Survival Game Deathgarden Now In Closed Beta; Early Access Planned For August
Deathgarden is an upcoming asymmetric survival game where extreme power goes up against teamwork and agility. If you've played Dead by Daylight, you'll probably be familiar with the concept.
“In this fast-paced action title, one overpowered Hunter needs to hunt down five agile Runners, whom are trying to complete objectives as a team. Runners need to work as a team while the Hunter will need to break the team.”
Developer Behaviour Digital has just announced the start of closed beta testing which will run until June 26th at 9AM ET. Players who participated in the game’s Closed Alpha testing will automatically get access to Closed Beta. New players, on the other hand, can sign up for the beta test on the official site.
Players who’ve participated in previous testings can look forward to new content. These include daytime weather, an improved party system, three new Runner powers, two new Runner perks, a new Hunter weapon, a new Hunter power, and two new Hunter perks.
Deathgarden is scheduled to transition into Early Access on Steam in August. “The goal of this final phase prior to the official release is to establish the post-launch content delivery cadence while better integrating community feedback and implementing further improvements,” says Design Director Matt Jackson.
