Diablo II is back and looking better than ever as Diablo II: Resurrected, a remastered version of the Blizzard Entertainment’s iconic ARPG, officially launches worldwide on PC and consoles. The remaster is priced at $39.99 and includes the classes and content from the original 2000 ARPG and the Lord of Destruction expansion, along with a long list of quality-of-life improvements such auto gold pickup and a larger stash.

“In Diablo II: Resurrected, the original game’s iconic 2D character models become fully realized 3D heroes who inhabit a boldly re-envisioned dark fantasy world of Sanctuary rife with rich—and often gory—detail.”

Resurrected takes advantage of next-gen hardware with support for up to 4K resolution and fully-remastered 7.1 Dolby Surround audio. The original game’s cinematics have also been faithfully recreated with high-fidelity visuals to match the remaster’s modernized graphics.

“While considerable work went into bringing Diablo II into the modern era, preserving the authenticity of the experience was paramount—the original game engine is still running ‘under the hood,’ performing the same calculations and game logic as it did back in the year 2000,” said Blizzard.

Diablo II: Resurrected is now available on PC via Battle.net, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch with cross-progression support through a Battle.net account. You’ll need to buy the game separately on each platform though.

The remaster’s release comes with a pair of new live action trailers featuring Shang-Chi’s Simu Liu and Black Panther’s Winston Duke. You can check those out below along with the official cinematic trailer.
