EVE Online ‘Eclipse Quadrant 2’ Final Invasion Chapter Goes Live On April 6th, Watch The New Trailer
In 2019, the citizens and Capsuleers of EVE Online faced a new kind of enemy as the Triglavian Collective, an ancient race of humans, began their invasion of New Eden with the release of the Invasion expansion and continuing on into Invasion Chapter 2. The battle with the Triglavian Collective will soon spill over into the far-reaches of the galaxy with the launch of the third and final chapter of the Invasion Chronicle, Quadrant 2 - Eclipse.
“After a packed and successful Quadrant 1 with Fight or Flight, we are pushing the envelope even further for Quadrant 2 with Eclipse,” says Creative Director Bergur Finnbogason. “We're committed to making exciting changes to New Eden going forward, with events, updates and plenty of surprises that will touch all corners of New Eden!”
Eclipse will feature galaxy-wide battles with the Collective along with mysterious new ships and new weapons. The final chapter will span several months, with a new storyline rolling out every quarter, hence the name.
Eclipse will also launch with a new live in-game event called The Hunt, with a variety of PvP and PvE rewards up for grabs. PvP players will also get the chance to obtain additional loot in the form of implants dropped by destroyed escape pods. Players can also expect new login campaigns and numerous balance changes.
