EVE Online’s Empires Take Center-Stage In The Foundation Quadrant, Launching Later Today
EVE Online shines the spotlight on New Eden’s Empires in the sci-fi MMORPG’s latest Quadrant – Foundation. Last week’s in-game events, which includes Dreadnought’s bombarding various planets in New Eden, sets the stage for a four-way Empire War which will be the focal point of the Foundation Quadrant.
Each of the Empires (Amarr, Caldari, Gallente, and Minmatar) will be taking center stage over the course of the Foundation Quadrant through themed in-game events and activities, as well as in four individual video features that will highlight each Empire’s unique characteristics.
“The Empires of EVE Online have evolved since the game’s launch in 2003. Each one has its own strengths and identities that our players have come to appreciate over the years,” said Creative Director Bergur Finnbogason. “As EVE turns 18, we want to give these empires the limelight they deserve.”
On the subject of the game’s 18th anniversary, the Capsuleer Day event will be returning on May 6 to mark the occasion, which will offer 12 days’ worth of celebratory events.
Jita Station, the game’s main trade hub, has also received a massive visual overhaul and the Aura New Eden Guide has been completely revamped. More information can be found on the EVE Online official site.
