Last year, Square Enix implemented a 30-minute AFK timer in Final Fantasy XIV to deal with extremely long queue times caused by a massive influx of players ahead of the Endwalker expansion’s release. With queue times and login issues now under control, the team has decided that it’s high time to remove the feature and have done so in the fantasy MMORPG’s latest patch.

The patch also introduces a long list of PvP balance adjustments for various jobs. The Black Mage, in particular, has received several boosts to speed up casting time and increase damage output and survivability. Bards, Gunbreakers, Machinists, Dancers, and Summoners have also received their fair share of improvements.

Players can expect more PvP adjustments coming in Patch 6.15. The full patch notes can be found on the Final Fantasy XIV official site.
