Fortnite Brings Back The Revolver And Tweaks Weapon Balance As 14 Days Of Summer Event Continues

Reach for the sky! Live your cowboy fantasies in Fortnite as the latest update brings back one of the most iconic guns to the game – the revolver. The classic six-shooter is available in Epic and Legendary variants and deals double damage for headshots.

A number of weapons will also be making their way back into the game. Unvaulted weapons include the Shockwave Grenade, the Suppressed SMG, and the Uncommon and Rare Pump Shotgun. The Rare Tactical Assault Rifle on the other hand has been chucked into the vault for the time being in favor of the Suppressed SMG. “With the unvaulting of the Suppressed Submachine Gun, we wanted to make sure loot distribution in this class of item was well distributed,” says Epic Games.

The update also introduces balance and availability adjustments for Tactical Shotguns, Burst SMGs, SemiAuto Sniper Rifles, FlintKnock Pistols, and more. You’ll find a detailed list of the changes in the official patch notes.

Meanwhile, the Fortnite 14 Days of Summer event is now in full swing with a new Battle Royale daily LTM, new daily Save The World missions, and a new unvaulted weapon coming to the game every day for the next two weeks. Check out the Fortnite official site for more info.
