Fractured Will Be Holding A Free End-Of-The-Year PvP Playtest
Dynamight Studios is ending the year with a free Fractured playtest running from December 30th through January 3rd, 2021. The playtest will be open to all registered users. If you’re interested, you can create an account on the game’s official website.
Dynamight says that the purpose of the playtest is to stress-test the servers and gather feedback on PvP. “It’s all about testing PvP! The criminal system will be live — only without the bounty hunting and jail systems,” says the devs. “Plus, most existing abilities have been changed/rebalanced. Other than stress-testing game servers, our aim here is to get as much feedback as possible on PvP balancing so we can have that in a good state by the start of the Winter Alpha!”
Since PvP will be the focus of the test, all exisiting character abilities will be unlocked along with all 60 Talent Points. Players will also have access to a full armor sets for each armor type and all wooden and metal weapons. All players will also be able to harvest resource nodes since they won’t be connected to a particular city.
The devs will also be giving away free Winter Alpha keys and possibly even permanent access to the game to give testers more incentive to do their best during the playtest. Keys will be given out to the top player in several categories including Highest PvP Ranking, Best Game Footage, Most Creative Character Build, Most Knowledge Acquired, and Coolest Land Parcel.
