Dreamside Interactive has dropped more information about Frozen Flame’s new survival mode ahead of its next closed alpha test, which kicks off later today. The new PvPvE mode is expected to hit the live servers this spring and will be available for both public and private servers.

Up to 50 players will be able to join survival mode where they’ll be able to participate in various activities and take on world bosses to lead their chosen faction to victory. The new mode promises a “significantly expanded” game world with random islands and cataclysmic world events.

Dreamside also revealed the possibility of an option being added to partially wipe the progress of all players in a server and teased a new campaign mode featuring new island types. More information can be found on the Frozen Flame Steam page.
