Gigantic Introduces The Playful Pakko This Thursday

Gigantic's first new hero since launch, which was first announced last week, has been unveiled. The character is a playful critter known as "Pakko," whose archetype is referred to as a "Jolly Brute." It seems that he is somewhat of a Bruiser type, featuring high defense but fairly high attack and mobility, as well.

Pakko's basic attack is a melee attack called "Frosty Swipes" that combos after repeated attacks. His "Snowball Toss" ability throws a snowball that explodes on impact and freezes enemies that are hit in place. "Slip and Slide" is an ability that allows Pakko to slide across the ground, "throwing his weight around and into his adversaries." His "Frost Path ability" will leave an "enchanted trail of ice" that freezes opponents and buffs teammates behind him. Pakko's focus attack, "Breath of Frigid Air," freezes enemies and subsequently turns them into immobile snowmen.

According to the official Twitter account, Pakko will be introduced to the live game on Thursday. It seems that more announcements may be on the way this week, as well, as "Day Two Coming Soon" can be seen at the top of the Pakko announcement page.
