Help King Slime Find Love And Check Out The War’s Retreat Changes In RuneScape
Everybody deserves to find love on Valentine’s Day, even giant, gloopy, gelatinous, globs like the Slime King. The “clammy Casanova” returns to Runescape with a novice-level permanent quest to set the King up with the girl of his dreams. Talk to Peter in Rimmington to get started. A glutinous pet and a “dapper” new accessory await players who successfully complete the quest.
This week’s update also introduces a number of changes to War’s Retreat based on community feedback. Changes include the addition of Marks of War currency tooltips, a “special message” for burning logs on War’s campfire, an updated unlock hint for the “Dare to Die” track, Boss Portal and Reaper Portal improvements, and the ability to check your Marks of War cooldown with War himself.
The Double XP Weekend event has been extended from February 21st to March 2nd. The weekly livestream is still on track for Tuesday, February 11th at 9am PT. This week, the devs will be holding another Q&A sessions and will be talking about projects they’re currently in the works.
