It looks like Mario Kart will finally be coming to PC after decades of Nintendo exclusivity. PCGamesN reports that dataminers have discovered strings of code that could be evidence of a possible Mario Kart Tour port for PC, including strings to recognize mouse inputs and a set of emulation code.

As with datamined leaks, it’s best to not expect anything at this point although ResetEra’s MondoMega points out that the strings could have something to do with the Google Play Games project that will allow users to play Android games on their PC. Nintendo, however, has always maintained exclusivity of their games and only allowed mobile ports as long as the experience was also tied to their console games.

Whether a Mario Kart port is coming or not, the dataminers also unearthed new content and changes coming to Mario Kart Tour in the future. These include new courses, a battle mode, anti-gravity mechanics, and what looks to be a connectivity feature with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Nintendo Switch.
