New World Player Successfully Completes Pacifist Challenge

If you think that taking on New World’s Ancients, Corrupted, and other hostile inhabitants is hard, try not killing any of them and still hit level cap in a few days. ORobozinho is the first player to complete the Pacifist Challenge in Amazon’s newly-released MMORPG, managing the feat with a total playtime of 10 days and 13 hours.

The Pacifist Challenge is a popular challenge in MMORPG’s where one player must hit level cap without killing a single mob. In ORobozinho’s case, he managed to do this by relying on gathering and crafting, and completing explorer and town board quests all the way up to level 60. The only mob he killed during the entire challenge was a boar that he was forced to kill and skin as part of the tutorial quest.

The reactions to ORobozinho’s achievement on Reddit are entertaining to say the least.

“This dude is 60 without killing anything and I’m over here trying my heart out and just got to 41. I have to be doing something wrong lol,” wrote on user.

“As a turkey murderer this is disrespectful. How can you walk past a perfect turkey and not completely obliterate it?” posted another.

“Trees having feelings, you monster,” posted another. To which ORobozinho replied, “Not anymore, I killed them all.”
