Wealth transfers are now back online in New World after it was temporarily taken down for the second time due to a persistent gold duplication exploit. Players can now start trading currency and items except for housing decorations which will remain non-tradeable for the time being. Here’s a list of what player can and can’t do with their decorations:

Players will be able to:

  • Salvage housing decorations
  • Put housing decorations in storage by picking up the furniture after its placed
  • Purchase housing decorations from an existing Trading Post contract

Players will not be able to:

  • Place buy orders for housing decorations on the trading post
  • Trade housing decorations with another player
  • Place housing decorations directly into the storage
  • Drop housing decorations on the floor
  • Enter build mode for housing

“Please be mindful of creating or buying housing items so you do not become over-encumbered,” Amazon advised.

Immobilized players will also be able to respawn properly following the game’s latest update. Compensation has also been promised to companies affected by the temporary removal of wealth transfers.

“For companies whose settlements were downgraded due to wealth transfers being disabled, you can expect compensation with our upcoming November Monthly release,” assured the devs.

Unfortunately, duping exploits in New World are like Hydra heads. Cut one off and two more pop up in its place. Players have reported two new duping exploits less than 24 hours after wealth transfers were turned back on, one involved cancelled trades and the other a crafting station bug. Amazon has yet to acknowledge both bugs.
