New World’s Great Axe Gravity Well Perk Gets Hit With The Nerf Bat

New World players who are fans of the Great Axe and its Insatiable Gravity Well perk will be disappointed to know that the perk has been significantly nerfed.

Amazon’s latest patch has reduced the secondary burst’s weapon damage by 25%, block stamina damage by a whopping 80%, and lifesteal amount from a range of 20% to 50% down to 15% to 35%. The team has also fixed an issue that caused the perk to hit nearby enemies twice instead of just once.

On the plus side, the patch also fixes several annoying issues including getting locked in an error message when logging-in, characters assigned to healing hotkeys changing mid-fight, and the infinite respawn timer bug. A bug that allowed some players to respawn instantly during War and Invasion modes has also been fixed.
