Outriders Continues To Experience Server And Connectivity Problems

A massive influx of players on launch day can both be a blessing and a curse as Outriders can attest to. The game has been experiencing connectivity issues from day 1 which seem to be getting worse by the day.

Developer People Can Fly are doing all they can to fix the issues and improve connectivity, including taking the servers offline for a short time to rebuild the server infrastructure before turning them back on again, a process that they dubbed “the mother of all turn-it-off-and-on-agains.”

The most recent update is that the servers are back online except in the US to ensure that login servers are not overwhelmed. The team also warned players that they might experience intermittent connectivity issues throughout the morning as they perform background server maintenance to improve server stability.

“As developers, who’ve been working super hard for the last 5 years to make this game awesome, we really hope that you will judge the game rather than those teething troubles related to server issues. It is frustrating for you and it is frustrating for us,” said Studio Head Sebastian Wojciechowski on Twitter.
