Overwatch's Next Hero Likely Not Doomfist

Overwatch is looking to add their 24th hero but it likely wont be Doomfist as most player speculation has been guessing. In a forum thread—about Sombra's sitting emote—Game director Jeff Kaplan cryptically responded to a question, saying "24 is not who you think it is."

Remember, the Overwatch team is always working multiple heroes at the same time. And they choose which hero to add next based on what they believe the game needs. So, it looks like Doomfist is not the hero we need anytime soon, though he will probably show up one day; months from now. 

Most people have been expecting Doomfist because Terry Crews has vocally expressed interest in voicing the mysterious character—even doing a mock tryout with Yahoo eSports. And he's probably the best fit. But just like Sombra, it will probably be months before we hear anything definitive. 

Now, I'm really curious who the next hero will be.
