Phantasy Star Online 2 Adds New Ultra Difficulty Urgent Quest Called ‘The Face Of The Abyss’
Phantasy Start Online 2 players have a new big bad baddy to take down with the addition of a new Urgent Quest ominously-called The Face of the Abyss. The quest is designed for battle-hardened veterans and is only available in Ultra Hard difficulty with a Level 85 requirement on both a Main and Sub class.
“The time has come to stare into The Face of the Abyss. Let the love and aspirations of those you care about empower you with light, that we might chase this darkness back from whence it came. This fight will take agility, strength, and determination – qualities that we know our operatives possess in abundance. ARKS HQ recommends the Hunter Skill Iron Will (if possible) or S4: Steely Determination, as this is to be a no-holds-barred fight for survival. Equip yourselves as though the world were ending – because for ARKS, it just might be.”
Players will have 60 minutes to complete the quest and will only be able to use the supplies that they take with them. “There is no going back to the Gateway Ship, so ensure you have adequate supplies of Moon Atomizers and Mate items before disembarking,” warns the devs. The range of Moon Atomizers will also increase should party members become separated.
Successfully completing the Urgent Quest will reward players with a variety of high-tier weapons with powerful Weapon Potentials along with the title “Discerner of the Primordial Darkness” and a 10 Darkstone Deimos Title Reward. Several powerful Augments can also be looted during the run.
