Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Gives Out Compensation Packages For Lag And Extended Maintenance

Since Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis launched earlier this month, Sega has been hard at work addressing the lag issues that have been plaguing the game during peak hours. As part of their efforts to fix the problem, the devs have had to take the servers down for emergency maintenance and extend last week’s regular maintenance times.

To apologize for the inconvenience, the team is giving away compensation packages containing SG 50 Tickets, N-Rare Drop Rate boosters, and N-Half Scape Dolls. They’ve also extended the duration of time-limited items, including Premium Sets, Material Storage, Extended Storage, Personal Shop and Personal Quarters use, and Bonus Keys.

Meanwhile, the team has rolled out another bug fix that should help alleviate primetime lag. They’ve also released a new live action trailer titled We are the Future.
