PSO2: New Genesis Previews Autumn Event, Stia, And A Player Housing System

SEGA shows off some of the new content coming to Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis over the next few months in its latest NGS Headline dev stream.

The highlight of next month’s update is the start of the game’s annual autumn event which will task players with completing missions and running races to earn points that can be exchanged for seasonal rewards, new weapons, and other in-game goodies. This years autumn event will also feature two new quests that will task players with surviving waves of enemies.

In December, players can look forward to the Hellfire Vanguard update which will open up the new volcanic region of Stia. The new region will come with brand new story quests and new characters to a, new weapon skills, and new 8-Star rarity weapons.

For next year, SEGA will be introducing player housing in the sci-fi fantasy MMORPG called Creative Spaces. The housing system will allow players to terraform their plots of land, design and build their own in-game homes from scratch using individual building pieces and modules, and spruce it up with a variety of housing decorations. During the stream, the developers also showcased just some of the things that can be built using the housing system including a Rappy house and a night club.
