PlanetSide 2’s NSO _Integration Update Now Live, NSO Faction Now Free-To-Play
NSO _ Integration, PlanetSide 2’s biggest update to date, is now live in the faction-based sci-fi shooter. As the weirdly-formatted update title suggests, NSO _Integration features the long-awaited revamp of the members-exclusive robotic mercenary faction – the Nanite Sytems Operative, or NSO.
As of the update’s release, the NSO is no longer locked behind a paywall and is now available for free to all players that have reached at least BR20. Free players who roll with the NSO faction will drop in from the Sanctuary to bolster the ranks of the lowest population faction as is the norm, while subscribers will get to choose their home faction and get to join any of the outfits within that faction.
The NSO has also received an arsenal of new vehicles, weapons, and Directive Weapons, along with adjustments to Infantry and Defector units, and more.
