Requiem Pre-Registrations for Relaunch Are Open Now (Originally launched in 2008)

Warpportal, Gravity Interactive's publishing division, is relaunching Requiem soon and pre-registrations are open now. No word on an exact release date just yet, but I suspect it'll be launching soon.

Requiem shut down in February 2022 and promised a 'revised' version of the game later in the year. Since posting a developer diary a few days after shutting down, the developers have been radio silent up until now. We'll see for ourselves soon enough what they've been working on. Given that Requiem is an old MMORPG (2008 release), don't expect major engine overhauls or anything like that. Instead, there's probably been a lot of balance changes and tweaks to the pace of leveling.

While it's good to see Requiem getting a rework instead of just shutting down like so many other MMORPGs, I can't imagine many new players flocking to this one. Still, I plan to give it a try myself.
