Season-Like ‘Chronicles’ Will Be Coming Soon To Wolcen Lords Of Mayhem

wolcen lords of mayhem city ramparts bannerSince Wolcen Lords of Mayhem launched back in February, developer Wolcen Studio has been busy rolling out balance changes, fixes, and various performance and game improvements as part of their “Operation: Second Dawn” initiative. Having completed Second Dawn, the team is now prepping for the release of the game’s first Chronicle – Bloodtrail.

Chronicles are the game’s version of seasons, or leagues if you prefer, and will be “coming soon” according to the studio’s latest announcement. The studio has yet to reveal detailed information about Chronicles, but if it’s anything like seasons or leagues in other games, it will probably follow the same mechanics which encourages players to create new characters for a chance to acquire seasonal rewards.

Once the first Chronicle goes live, the in-game economy will be reset and all characters created before its release will be transferred to a separate game mode called Legacy. Chronicle and Legacy characters will not be able to group or trade with each other but they will be able to do so with characters within their respective game modes.
