Square Enix MOBA Goes Into Open Beta

Square Enix's entry onto the MOBA stage, Lord of Vermilion Arena, has released into open beta.  Lord of Vermillion features intense 7v7 gameplay where players summon familiars in order to control the hectic battlefield.  The game also includes character creation and customization... along with CCG deckbuilding components.

The game is based on an arcade game of the same name, in which players pit physical cards against each other, using them to summon monsters to aid them.  Lord of Vermilion II was highly successful on the Japanese markets and even included characters from Magic the Gathering, Touhou Project, Final Fantasy and BlazBlue.

One can only hope that we will get an English release along with all these cool characters.
