Stompy Bot Productions Receive $2 Million In Funding For Heavy Gear Assault

Stompy Bot Productions have announced that they have received a new round of funding to the tune of $2 million. This new financing will help to "springboard" the game into a release state in 2016. The money will be put towards "all aspects important to [their] community" on the road to release.

Development over the course of the next few months will be focused on the core components of their eSports module. Meta, threat, objectives, and league play are some of the aspects they are hoping to improve. Before that, however, a set of regression patches is being prepared.
