Super People, South Korean studio Wonder People’s new battle royale game, quietly launched into Early Access on Steam earlier this month. The game features the same last man or group standing mechanics typical of the genre except for the fact that characters can use special abilities and ultimate skills.

“Wonder People proudly presents a battle royale shooter that will revolutionize how you think about the genre. In Super People, take control of a super-soldier, each with their own unique skills, and survive until you are the last one standing.”

Since it’s launch, the game’s population has been holding steady, peaking at around 35,000 concurrent players a day, although response has been lukewarm at best. Reviews on Steam are currently “Mixed” with most complaints aimed at rampant cheating, unbalanced matchmaking, and unstable connections during online play.

Super People will remain free-to-play throughout its Early Access stint and will remain free-to-play when it launches sometime in April or May 2023. Meanwhile, the cash shop has been stocked with Halloween-themed goodies who want to celebrate the spooky season in style.
