The First Descendant is nearing the final leg of its alpha tests as Nexon announces the last technical test for the upcoming co-op action shooter. The playtest will run from 12 a.m. PDT on May 25 until 11:59 p.m. PDT on May 26 and will be open to anyone on PC as long as they meet the minimum system requirements.

The goal of the playtest is to expose any last-minute technical issues in preparation for the game’s launch this summer. While the test is only limited to PC, the game itself will be launching simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S and will be free-to-play on all platforms with cross-play support between PC and consoles.

Meanwhile, Nexon continues to work on improving and polishing the game with the addition of new features including instanced dungeons with multiple difficulty modes, map updates, better inventory organization, and support droids scattered throughout the game world to address the issue of players constantly running out of ammo in the field.
