The Latest World Of Warcraft Shadowlands Alpha Update Introduces Profession Changes

The World of Warcraft Shadowlands Alpha test server was temporarily taken offline yesterday as Blizzard Entertainment worked out the kinks in the new Alpha update. The servers should now be up and running which means that testers can now enjoy the new profession changes that came with the latest update.

“The Shadowlands Alpha now includes Brokers in the Hall of Shapes in Oribos. Brokers are profession trainers and vendors that allow you to craft and test Professions changes coming in Shadowlands. Now, exploring the new zones, you’ll discover zone-specific herbs, ore, and fish, as well as new leathers from the denizens of the Shadowlands.”

Dataminers have also uncovered new boss and dungeon entries as well as new customization options which includes scars for Night Elves. Players can also look forward to Legendary Armor crafting which will be available to all players regardless of profession. A ‘Base Item’, however, will be needed for the process which can be crafted by Blacksmiths, Leatherworkers, Tailors, and Jewelcrafters.
