Today’s Black Desert Online Patch Comes With A New Summer Challenge & Guild Skill Changes

Summer is heating up and Black Desert Online is celebrating the hottest season of the year with a minor patch that features the new Amazing Summer Challenge event. The patch also comes with a number of mount-based quality of life updates such as the ability to summon mounts using just one flute.

“This week, refresh yourself with a Finto's juice and get even more rewards with the Start of an Amazing Summer Challenge! As announced recently, we are changing the Horse Flute into the Trainer's Flute which can be used to call your horses, but also your donkeys, camels and miniature elephants! You will now be able to see which mount you have taken out for each character in the End Game and Character Selection window.”

Also, Guild Masters can now take a much-needed break because Guild Officers will now be able to use Guild Skills. Kakao Games promises that other top-ranking Guild Members will also gain access to Guild Skills as soon as they implement “more segmented ranks” sometime in the future.

The patch also contains bug fixes and a few item and class changes. All Shai Release events are also still live and will continue to run until next week. Check out the full patch notes for more details.
