Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta Goes Live

If you're still not sold on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands and its open world rendition of Bolivia, you can play it for free this weekend thanks to an Open Beta test that went live earlier today. From now until February 27th, players can team up with up to three friends and take on the Santa Blanca Cartel, explore two of twenty-one of the game's provinces, and more.

Initial Steam Reviews are remarking that it's not very good. One Steam user notes that the vehicle controls are "somehow [worse than an] arcade game." Another compares it to all of the games that it's like, except if those games weren't nearly as good. Yet another remarks that you should "play it with a friend and laugh at how horrible the physics are." I'll reserve judgment until I can play it myself, but, as of right now, I'm not entirely optimistic.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta is now available to download from Steam. If nothing else, perhaps it will be worth a good laugh at the expense of yet another Ubisoft launch.
