V Rising Player Numbers Skyrocket Following Secrets Of Gloomrot’s Launch

The release of V Rising’s long-delayed Secrets of Gloomrot expansion last week has breathed new life into the multiplayer vampire survival game. Players are now returning to the game in droves to check out the new multi-level castles, challenging new bosses, and all of the other content that the expansion has to offer.

Since its initial launch in May 2022, V Rising has garnered a devoted following of multiplayer fans and vampire enthusiasts the world over. With a thriving community, it quickly gained popularity and sold over a million copies within its first week.

However, after months with no content updates, its player numbers gradually declined but has now been reinvigorated with Secrets of Gloomrot’s highly-awaited release. From an average peak concurrency of just around 2,000 players, its concurrency numbers have since skyrocketed to a peak daily concurrency of nearly 78,000 players. That’s still a far cry from the 150,000 peak concurrency that it logged shortly after launch, but it’s still an incredibly significant improvement.
