Valorant Has Officially Launched Worldwide With A New Hero, Launch Issues Currently Being Fixed

valorant reyna keyart bannerValorant, Riot Games’ highly-awaited competitive online shooter, has officially launched worldwide. As expected, player have hit a few snags as soon as the servers came online. These include error codes, server instability, problems with unlocking battle pass rewards and skins, and missing Valorant Points purchased during closed beta.

Riot Games acknowledged the problems on Twitter saying that they’re on the case. The dev team also had to bring down the EU server to perform emergency maintenance related to server crashes. The EU server is still offline as of this writing.

The game launched at 5am PDT earlier today with a new season pass, a new beta game mode called Spike Rush, the new Ascent map, and a new hero named Reyna.
