VR development studio Vertigo Games has released new After the Fall footage showcasing the upcoming VR shooter’s cross-platform multiplayer gameplay.

“Through full cross-platform multiplayer, After the Fall is bringing together the VR community in a way that has rarely been done before,” said Vertigo. “Today’s video showcases the game’s signature platform-agnostic co-op gameplay, captured from all platform perspectives in a cross-platform play session.”

After the Fall is a four-player co-op first-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic ice-covered version of Los Angeles in the 1980s.

“Starting out in a shared space with up to 32 other players, players venture out into the remains of post-apocalyptic LA, wield deadly weapons and devastating powers with real-life movements as they develop their combat style, and join forces with players worldwide as they go head to head with hordes and towering bosses - and each other - in a bid to leave the city a better place than their predecessors.”

After the Fall officially launches on December 9th on Meta Quest 2, PlayStation VR, and Steam. Pre-order the game to get

10% discount, pre-order bonuses, and access to the 48-hour head start on PlayStation and Steam. Check out the new gameplay video below for a quick look at what the game has to offer.
