Warhammer Odyssey Soft-Launches Globally On Android And iOS

Warhammer Odyssey, the first full-featured Warhammer 3D MMORPG for mobile devices, has soft-launched globally on Android and iOS. The global soft launch will allow developer Virtual Realms to continue beta testing the game but on a global scale.

“Greetings Adventurers! We are excited to announce that Warhammer: Odyssey is now officially global! Now is the time for heroes! Journey to the iconic Old World and forge alliances to take a stand against darkness and Chaos!”

Because Odyssey is set in the Old World, the game will feature a more fantasy-like setting compared to the futuristic sci-fi universe of the Warhammer 40k franchise. Players will be able to explore the city of Marienburg and its surrounding areas as one of six character classes: High Elf Archmage, High Elf Shadow Warrior, Human Witch Hunter, Human Warrior Priest, Dwarf Slayer, and Dwarf Engineer.

The latest version of the game also introduces two new zones, a level cap increase, and slower mid-game character leveling, which developer Virtual Realms says is designed to “to improve the overall pace of character progression.”
