Watch Dogs: Legion Releases New Story Trailer, Announces Online Multiplayer Mode

watch dogs legion multiplayer art bannerUbisoft has just released a new Watch Dogs: Legion story trailer along with an announcement that the game will feature an online multiplayer mode as part of its post-launch content.

“Zero-Day, an unknown entity, has framed the secret underground resistance, DedSec, for the bombings that contributed to the fall of London. In Watch Dogs: Legion, players must fight to liberate London by building a resistance.”

The online multiplayer mode will roll out on December 3rd and will allow up to four players to team up, explore London, and participate in missions and other side activities. A PvP mode, called the Spiderbot Arena, will also be available to those who want to take part in intense free-for-all deathmatches using armed spiderbots.

Watch Dogs: Legion is scheduled to on October 29th on PC, Google Stadia, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The game will also be coming out on the Xbox Series X and Series S on November 10th and digitally on PlayStation 5 on November 12th. The PS5 physical version will be available starting November 24th.
