Wolcen: Lords Of Mayhem ‘Arise’ Update Revamps Summons And Adds New Environments

After a short delay, the Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem “Arise” update is now live bringing with it a massive rework of the multiplayer ARPG’s Summons system. The update features a complete cosmetic revamp for all summons, including new models, animations, and effects. In addition, summons can now automatically respawn, teleport to the cursor’s location, and scale with a player’s power.

“Summons dealing Physical, Rend or Toxic damage will gain bonus damage from your %material damage. If you change their damage type to Frost, Fire, or Lightning, they will benefit from your %elemental damage, and so on,” explained the devs.

“As scaling is a matter of balancing, we will use your feedback on the current state of the summons in order to fine-tune how they scale with particular affixes, thus, we will keep working on balancing the summons in the upcoming content patches.”

Arise also introduces the new Infested Bog and Aberrant Marsh environments, the new endgame Lunar Armor, new damage type variations, and several quality of life improvements. The full patch notes can be found on the Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem Steam Page if you’re up for a quick read.
